EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

LaPCine is an independent audiovisual production company founded by Diana C. Patiño Martínez, an award-winning producer with over a decade of experience in film and television. She is best known for producing “Leidi”, winner of the Palme d’Or for Best Short Film at the Cannes Film Festival, and “Entre tú y Milagros”, which received the Orizzonti Award for Best Short Film at the Venice International Film Festival.

Her latest short film, “Bogotá Story”, was part of the official selection at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, marking her second selection at the Festival.

Diana holds a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Production Design and Management from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a Master’s in Documentary Filmmaking from EICTV. She has served as Program Coordinator for the Film Development Fund at Proimágenes Colombia , and as Executive Producer for Señal Colombia. In collaboration with Canal Capital and the Truth Commission, she produced the award-winning documentary series “Frente al espejo”, recipient of the India Catalina Award for Best Journalistic Production (2021). LaPCine’s projects have been supported by national and local cultural institutions, including the Film Development Fund, the District Institute of the Arts, and the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.
